The Golf Courses
Amendoeira Golf Resort is home to two stunning championship golf courses, both designed by legendary names in golf - Nick Faldo and Christy O'Connor Jnr. Each course is of contrasting design and will offer a challenge to both professional and amateur golfers.
The Oceânico Faldo Course has been designed with strategic play in mind and demands careful positioning to score well; rocky outcrops, meandering watercourses and views to the distant mountains and orange groves define its essential character.
The Oceânico O'Connor Jnr course perfectly complements the Faldo Course whilst taking advantage of the rich valley soil in contrast to the arid hillside. It is a course which offers no less of a challenge, large areas of water demand accurate play and creative shot making with the lakes and streams being maintained as a wildlife sanctuary.
The magnificent clubhouse, with majestic views of both courses, features a professional shop with an extensive range of products, a green side bar and café, a spike bar, restaurant and banqueting room which can cater for up to 250 people and luxurious locker room areas.
The Amendoeira Golf Resort Academy boasts every practice facility for the amateur and tour professional alike. Facilities include a 9-hole par 3 course (floodlit for evening use), practice chipping and putting areas, tuition programmes for every standard of golfer from our experienced instructors and a state of the art Callaway Fitting Suite where a trained specialist will recommend the ideal Callaway clubs for your game.
